This advanced clinical workshop will identify current views and clinical treatment around grief, looking at their strengths and limitations.  New therapeutic practices, including material from The Creative Grief Studio, will be highlighted.  We will also discuss disenfranchised grief and ambiguous grief and the potential clinical impact they may have on clients.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Donna Ritz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has practiced in the Princeton area for over 25 years. She works with adolescents and adults whose primary concerns are dealing with executive functioning, anxiety, transitions, uncertainty and grief. Of particular interest to her is the often ignored experiences of ambiguous grief and loss, especially losses that come with events that might otherwise be viewed as milestones or the realization of goals. Ms. Ritz is a graduate of the Rutgers’ School of Social work. Additionally, she is trained in Imago Therapy, Voice Dialogue, and Creative Grief and has brought these skills to her work in her private practice, in alternative educational settings, private consulting and workshops. In her capacity as a therapist in an alternative educational school, Ms. Ritz has provided workshops
