TThe Entertainment Starts Early!
Entertainment throughout the evening by the following performers:
Vita Thorne
As the producer, host and singing siren of A Burlesque Soirée, Vita aspires to spread her passion for the songs of yesteryear throughout Manhattan, and beyond. Singing the songs made famous by Ella, Etta, Elvis and Sinatra, Vita Thorne breathes new life into the standards. She has showcased her musical range and styling at many Manhattan venues including The Slipper Room, The Triad Theater, Don't Tell Mama, The Duplex and The Club at The Metropolitan.
Danny Bacher
You can hear a touch of Michael Bublé in him, but with plenty of drive and lots of swinging. Bacher has a lot of fun performing, and it shows. He draws from the work of Louis Jordan for the jump and rhythm & blues. He gets ballads from Louis Armstrong, and polite rock ’n roll from Louis Prima, including the medley ‘Just a Gigolo/I ain’t got nobody’. Upon first hearing, Bacher uses the possibilities which are given to him a bit politely but equally lashes out considerably. He’s not only a singer but also a soprano saxophonist who has performed alongside Jazz greats and solo at Carnegie Hall, The Blue Note, Birdland and Lincoln Center.
Puss-N-Boots
International Burlesque Performer, Puss-N-Boots, is bound to entertain you with her high kicks and perfect pout. "Slicker than liquid eyeliner," this true blue-eyed beauty was dubbed in London as one of "The United States best exports". Puss-N-Boots is a raven-haired vixen from the south who's trotted across the globe and back in her six-inch stilettos bringing audiences everywhere the highest form of entertainment, the splits, the kicks, the shimmy, the twirl and, of course, the strip! Ms. Puss is a regular performance artist in the NYC scene and is also a judge for the fun, competitive show Burlesque Idol that was brought to NYC from London and held at The Slipper Room.
Le Grand Chaton
NYC/NJ based burlesque performer who is also known as "The Cat's Pajamas of Burlesque"! She has appeared with White Elephant Burlesque for their second annual Star Wars show as the infamous Princess Leia Organa - a signature performance to remember! This cat is a vixen who likes to take her time, and is always ready to wow you!
