This program will look at utilizing the QPR formula (Question, Persuade, and Refer) to identify warning signs in clients who are at risk for SI using 3 simple steps.
Objectives:
- Recognize the warning signs of suicide.
- Know how to offer hope.
- Know how to get help and save a life.
This CE webinar fulfills the DE requirement for this renewal period. CE certificates will be e-mailed by NASW-DE, within 7 days of successful completion of the webinar to the email provided upon registration.
To receive your CE certificate, please be sure to:
- Register with your FULL NAME as you would like it to appear on your CE certificate, and with the EMAIL ADDRESS you want the certificate to be sent to - please check spelling (CE certificates will be e-mailed within 7 days of completion of the event)
- Log onto the virtual training/webinar/event NO LATER than 5 mins after the start time
- You WILL NOT be permitted to enter the virtual meeting space after 5 mins and you will not be refunded if the event is paid for (if you are experiencing issues with your log in please contact Makyla Burke at mburke.naswde@socialworkers.org)
- You are expected to be logged on for the duration of the event (with the exception of breaks if any) – note that attendance is being tracked by an NASW-DE team member.

- If you registered and paid for this event, but do not attend without informing NASW-DE of your anticipated absence you will not be eligible to receive a refund
