As we celebrate Pride Month, join Jeffery Marsh and Jennifer Thompson for a special presentation and conversation around non binary identity and LGBTQIA issues.

This special event is free for NASW members and available for a small fee for non-members.

People whose gender is not male or female use many different terms to describe themselves, with non-binary being one of the most common.  This webinar will explore some of the complex situations that people who identify as non-binary or LGBTQIA face.

Jeffrey is one of the world’s foremost commentators on nonbinary identity and activism in America, with a message of positivity and inclusion and a deep knowledge of queer issues and history.

Jeffrey has reported on LGBTQ topics for TIME, Variety, and the BBC. Jeffrey was also a Cultural Consultant on Nonbinary Identity for the Elizabeth Warren campaign, New York University, the office of Chirlaine McCray (New York City’s First Lady), GLAAD, MTV, Condé Nast’s ‘Them’ and ‘Teen Vogue.’ As an author, Jeffrey was the first prominent public figure to use, and advocate the use of, they/them pronouns for trans and gender non-conforming people

This webinar is free for NASW members and available for a small fee for non-members. 1.5 Social/Cultural CEUs will be given.
