Financial Social Work: A Behavioral Model Focused on Money & Mental HealthNo One Wants to Have Financial Problems but Most People Do
For some, money problems contribute to a mental health decline; for others, mental health problems have the potential to exacerbate financial problems; for all, when the relationship between money and mental health is neglected its toxicity intensifies stress, anxiety, trauma, uncertainty, and overall wellbeing.
Attend this interactive training to learn how to help clients struggling with today’s negative economic realities (inflation, food insecurity, income, wealth inequality, etc.) and impacting their mental, physical, emotional, psychological, and social lives.
At the conclusion of this training, attendees will:· Recognize how the psychosocial component of FSW drives financial behavior (how one earns, spends, saves, shares, and borrows).· Have a framework for incorporating Financial Social Work on a micro, mezzo, and macro level.· Leave with 3 new tools and skills for improving financial health and wellness personally and professionally.
