2 Day Bladesmithing Class
In this intensive 2-day knife making class, students will learn the skills of a bladesmith, cutler, and leatherworker. Blades will be forged, heat treated, and polished before being fitted with wooden handle scales, and a custom leather sheath. All of the core aspects of the art of knife making are covered, as well as the use of tools and equipment unique to the craft.

-All tools required will be provided to each student.
-All students should bring a packed lunch, and any snacks or drinks that will be required throughout the day. Bottled water will be provided.
-Safety equipment is highly recommended (Eye protection, breathing protection, gloves, etc.) but can be provided to each student if required. Eye protection must be worn at all times.
-All students should dress in natural fiber clothing (no synthetic materials, etc.) and should dress in multiple layers dependent upon the seasonal temperatures at the time of the scheduled class. Hard soled shoes or boots should also be worn. No open toed footwear. While the facility is climate controlled, ventilation is often required. Please dress accordingly.
-Classes typically begin at 9AM and continue until approximately 5PM on and scheduled class day.
-By purchasing this ticket, you are accepting the risk involved with this potentially dangerous activity. Oak Mountain Armoury Ltd. nor any affiliates will be held responsible for any potential injuries that may occur as a result of participating in this class. A general liability waiver will be provided and must be signed by each student prior to the start of each class.
