Express your creativity and sewing skills by participating in the 2016 ASG Fashion Show.  This year’s theme “Some Like It Hot” encourages everyone to sew with that mysterious textile  … wool.  If wearing or creating with wool in August brings thoughts of “hot flashes” feel free to design and make whatever you would like! 

Here'a summary of the event details:

  • Date:  Saturday, August 6, 2016
  • Location:  Bent Tree Bible Fellowship

  • Time:  10am - 12pm
  • Cost:  Free
  • Bring your favorite brunch item. 

 

Fiber arts creations of every size and type are encouraged:  Scarves, Garments, Quilts, Home Décor, & Accessories.  You can either show off from the runway or a display area, whatever your heart desires.

 

The event will consist of a pot-luck brunch followed by the fashion show.  Everyone is encouraged to bring a continental brunch item to share.  Drinks will be provided. 

Please note:  Crock pots and warmers are not allowed.

The American Sewing Guild is a membership organization that welcomes sewing enthusiasts of all skill levels and from many different walks of life. Chapters are located in cities all across the country and members meet monthly to learn new sewing skills, network with others who share an interest in sewing and participate in community service sewing projects.
