2017 Mindfulness Research Conference
Mindful Families, Schools & Communities:
Contemplative Practices to Promote Child & Family Well-Being
This 3rd biennial research meeting will bring together researchers and practitioners whose work promotes the well-being of children and families through mindfulness. The focus is on advancing the science of mindfulness to enhance children’s well-being, featuring the latest research findings and their applications. This will be an intimate conference with rich opportunities for discussion and networking.

Pricing
***Registration with a Poster is for conference attendees who are not students. Please complete the Poster Submission Form to register for the $170 fee. By submitting an abstract, you will have reserved your spot in the conference, so please wait until you have been notified by CCFW about the status of your poster before completing your registration. Poster submissions received by Monday, January 16th, 2015 will receive the fullest consideration, although poster abstracts submitted after that date will be considered. Notification of acceptance will be sent by February 15, 2017. If your poster is accepted, you will receive a code to register for the $170 fee.
Students are also encouraged to submit abstracts for posters by completing the Poster Submission Form. Students do not need to wait to hear if their poster has been accepted to register for the conference. Students may register for the conference anytime.
The Poster Session is scheduled for Friday, April 28, 2017, 4:30 – 5:30PM.
As a poster presenter, you will be responsible for hanging your poster starting at 9:00AM, Friday, April 28, 2017. Posters will remain up throughout the conference.

Continuing Education Credits
Please follow the links below to learn more about two continuing education credit options:
1. Certificate of Completion for licensed psychologists, marriage and family therapists, mental health counselors, and social workers in Washington State: $5 for up to 11.5 credit hours
2. Department of Early Learning (DEL) MERIT Credits: $5 for up to 11.5 credit hours. For MERIT credits, you will need a STARS or MERIT ID number.
Please note, if you register to receive CE credits, you will receive the number of credits commensurate with the amount of session time you attend. CCFW cannot guarantee refunds for individuals who are unable to attend the full session. For each CE option, sign-in will be required.
Cancellation Policy
If your plans change and you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration so your spot may be made available to someone else. If you cancel up to two weeks prior to the event (4/14/17), you will receive a full refund less a $5 processing fee. If you cancel within two weeks leading up to the event, you will receive a partial refund of 50% minus a $5 processing fee. Refunds cannot be granted on the day the event begins.
