Inside the Mind of a Great Leader

Corporate Sherpas - 2022 Autumn Executive Education Series

(April 21, 28 and May 5, 12)

Market volatility, digital transformation, and innovation are changing the way organisations survive and thrive in every industry. At the same time, these factors are increasing the need for business leaders to equip themselves with the capacity to resolve both technical and adaptive challenges.

Project professionals and leaders are now expected to be business partners who can develop deep, genuine and meaningful relationships with their clients, in order to achieve better commercial outcomes, alongside strong governance and management practices. In view of this, there is a strong need for professionals to become true experts in forming relationships, and to develop an ability to move beyond solely carrying out knowledge-based technical services.

The desirable qualities of progressive professionals then extend to building trustworthiness, empathy, being approachable, and being adaptive. Further qualities include the ability to build healthy relationships, and the ability to make complex decisions without bias.

Corporate Sherpas invite you to participate in their 2022 Autumn Executive Education Series.

The series of four workshops is designed to empower executives and professionals to create and renew competitive advantages for their organisations, via the strengthening of social capital.

Built upon psychological and neuroscientific research, the workshops will cover:

  1. Emotional Quotient and Performance - Achieving business results by leveraging group IQ.
    When: Thursday, 21st April, 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

  2. The Art and Science of Communication - Making sense and cutting through noise and chaos.
    When: Thursday, 28th April, 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

  3. Courage and Conflict - Enhancing performance by daring to disagree.
    When: Thursday, 5th May, 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

  4. Sense Making in Action - Understanding and Influencing the architecture of choice.
    When: Thursday, 12th May, 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Drawing on more than 20 years of practical experience, as well as studies at Harvard and London School of Economics, the Corporate Sherpas have designed programs that help the smartest teams in Australia create opportunities amidst chaos and confusion. Their passion is to develop future-ready leaders that ignite ingenuity and tenacity in their teams, essentially they help transform Experts into Alchemists.
