Our fourth annual event will be held both virtually and in-person January 31, 2022 - February 2, 2022.
The Data-Centric Architecture Forum (DCAF) is an annual conference hosted by Semantic Arts. DCAF provides an intimate collaborative space for practitioners who are interested in helping shape the nascent Data-centric Revolution.
For those new to this movement (many have copied our data-centric verbiage), a link to Dave McComb's virtual introduction last year can be reviewed below. It is a paradigm shift out of an application-centric mindset. The solution comes in pivoting information and knowledge share thinking by adopting data-centric principles.
Think of data as the center of the universe and knowledge applications are ephemeral.

Last year's theme, Making it REAL, put great emphasis on companies making the journey to becoming data-centric. Many attendees found value through their interactions with leaders in digital and data transformation hearing stories of, successes as well as, challenges and what these leaders learned from such experiences.
This year will take a similar presentation format with Q&A breakout rooms of "real life" implementations, approaches, methodologies, and tool deployments that complement becoming data-centric. One notable difference is that we will employ a hybrid (virtual and in-person experience) to allow for a deeper exchange of ideas and interaction that meets with your expectations.
There will also be an expanded workshop related path for instruction and tips to better grasp the core data-centric implementation principles. This will apply for semantic enthusiasts as well as transformational business leaders tackling the process of building a value proposition for taking a non-traditional path to managing enterprise information assets.
We're excited to see you (virtually on a screen or in-person) in 2022.
