3 Clinical CEUs
This workshop will explore the four modules of DBT including Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Interpersonal Effectiveness and Distress Tolerance and how each can be used in both in-person and online therapeutic settings.
Participants will learn:
1. The basics of DBT
2. The distinction between DBT-Adherent and DBT-Informed work
3. How to effectively use DBT-Informed interventions in individual, family and group therapy
For those licensed in NY: NASW New Jersey Chapter SW CPE is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers #SW-0138. This course does not necessarily meet supervision requirements in the state of New York.
