3rd Grade Science and Resource Training

The goal of this science PD is to help teachers analyze science standards and provide training on how to use FOSS science resources.  We will explore the topics of planning and instruction, guided inquiry, digital technologies, and sense-making in science through virtual learning.  This virtual professional development will be divided into 4 sections.  

Sections and Meeting Dates:

Section 1:  Zoom meeting for 3rd grade only- June 9 9:30- 10:45-

Section 2: Zoom Meeting for 3-5 science teachers- June 16 9:30-10:45- 

Section 3: FOSS Independent Training Assignment- June 17 

Meeting 4- Zoom Meeting for 3-5 science teachers- June 18 9:30- 10:45-  

***Must attend/ complete all 4 sections of trainings to be eligible for 0.5 CEUs
