This course is for those who have already taken the 3-day Clinicial Supervision Course. Join us to update your knowledge of the NJ regulations and fine tune your skills for working with supervisees. We will go over sample documents that can be used in supervision and explore solutions to complicated case examples.

For those licensed in NY: NASW New Jersey Chapter SW CPE is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers #SW-0138. This course does not necessarily meet supervision requirements in the state of New York.

Manda is the Director, Inpatient, Child and Adolescent Partial Hospitalization, Children’s Transitional Residence and Integrated Health Programs and the Chief Social Worker, University Behavioral Health Care. Manda is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Master’s in Social Work from New York University, with a concentration in Children and Families. She is a therapist, clinical supervisor and educator with experience as a consultant, trainer and project manager. As the Director for Inpatient Services, Child and Adolescent Partial Hospitalization in Piscataway, the Children’s Transitional Residence at Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care, Manda provides administrative and clinical supervision for programs serving adults, adolescents and children and their families. As Chief Social Worker at UBHC, she oversees the placement of social work students into clinical settings for field placement in addition to providing licensing information, advocacy and support to the agency’s social work staff. Manda has received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. She also provides clinical services to individuals, groups and families and specializes in issues related to mental health, women’s issues, gender identity and sexual diversity. In addition to being a former Adjunct Instructor at the Rutgers School of Social Work, Manda has provided training to mental health professionals all across the state. Manda has been working with a multidisciplinary team for more than 20 years and is passionate about raising awareness of ways to promote and address mental health issues in all settings.
