6th Annual
Take-A-Swing at Childhood Cancer Golf Tournament
Presented By:
On Monday, November 14th, 2022 Wardley Real Estate along with The Becca Green Team, Guild Mortgage will hold its 6th Annual Take A Swing at Childhood Cancer at The Dragon Ridge Country Club inside the prestigious community of MacDonald Highlands. We have been growing this event since 2016, raising funds for Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation. Last year, with the help of sponsors, donors, and players, we were able to break the $100,000 total donation mark for our event
Once again, Dragon Ridge will host a shotgun start on their 18 hole championship, private golf course which encompasses panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip and the Valley below. The tournament will be followed by a sponsored luncheon for all players that will include raffle drawings, giveaways, and awards. We will also have several games on the course including closest to the pin, long drive prizes, and much more!
Wardley Real Estate is a family owned and operated company, and our company motto is "Changing lives for the Positive". Part of our company beliefs are to reach out to the community as often as we can to give back to those in need. We decided to partner with the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, a local non-profit organization providing over 45 programs and services at no cost to pediatric and adult patients and their families living in Southern Nevada. The MISSION of NCCF is to provide social, educational, financial, and psychological support services and programs to families of ALL children diagnosed with life threatening or critical illnesses such as cancer, HIV/AIDS, sickle cell, renal, blood and immunologic diseases and to provide healing arts and wellness programs to adults touched by cancer as well as to chronically ill children and their caregivers.
This tournament has turned into an amazing annual event that all those involved look forward to; a beautiful day on a beautiful golf course for a very deserving charity. Last year we sold out sponsorship holes and player participation making it the most successful event to date. With your support, we plan to do it again this go around. We hope to have your support on November 14th.
You can be a hero by making a difference in the community and helping us to raise even more funds by sponsoring a hole, becoming a contest/raffle sponsor, donating items for player grab bags and/or signing up to play along. There are plenty of ways to get involved and we welcome any and all contributions.
