Introducing ANH-Intl’s Practitioner’s Toolkit Series — Developing YOU to future-proof your practice
with special guest and expert facilitator, Ben Brown leading the workshop session!
The right knowledge and the right tools are essential components of any successful practitioner business. Given the rapid pace of development of nutritional science, functional testing, changing needs among clients and a turbulent regulatory climate, many practitioners are looking for additional tools for their toolkits.
The Alliance for Natural Health International (ANH) is proudly launching a bespoke series of CPD events and client-facing materials. Like everything we do at ANH, these events will be unique, out of the box and not what you have come to expect from practitioner conferences in the UK!
We're very excited to feature a top line up of experts joining us on this first event, where we'll demonstrate practically why genomic and functional testing is the bedrock of personalised, individualised and targeted protocols. And you're coming with us on the journey! This event is all about you being able to actively engage with the learning and interact with eachother, our experts and facilitators, in a workshop format so that you leave confident to implement the learning in your practice on Monday. We'll also share some simple criteria to help you find your way through the maze of supplements so that you can feel sure you have the best support for your protocols. Each delegate will receive a comprehensive workbook to use for the day, which will double as a reference resource afterwards.
Our thanks go to our headline speakers, Umahro Cadogan, Jonathan Cohen and Robyn Puglia — and our event partners, Nordic Laboratories, Functional DX and Regenerus Laboratories.
This day of practical and immediately applicable information will be delivered in the beautiful, natural setting of Sheepdrove’s Eco Centre. Accompany this with deliciously healthy organic food and we think this day of inspired learning may just be exactly what you’ve been waiting for!
Among the day's learning will be:
- Increased confidence in assessing the status of the 6 underlying determinants of chronic disease (oxidative stress, inflammation, mitochondrial function, immune system function, biotransformation and neurotransmitter balance)
- Evidence-based interventions for individualising and optimising the above
- Making the most of functional testing — the bedrock of individualised practice — from selection to interpretation to protocol
- Relate and apply theory to practice in a practical setting using 'live' case studies with experts who have decades of clinical experience between them
- Supplements: simple criteria to make better choices
Ample interaction and Q&A throughout the day with experts and facilitators.
Plus! The journey continues. FREE post-conference webinars to follow our clients progress and continue learning.
Whether you're an experienced practitioner or a student, this event will offer you new tools — and you'll also be able to share your knowlege and insights with the rest of the group, just like being in an effective integrative practice.

MEET THE SPEAKERS
Umahro Cadogan
Best-selling Author, World Class Lecturer and Functional Medicine Expert
Umahro has worked in the field of Functional Medicine for close to 2 decades, and is renowned for his lecturing skills and ability to solve complex clinical cases and help patients that have been unable to regain health.
He has seen thousands of patients in his clinic in Copenhagen and lectures extensively on health, nutrition, Functional Medicine and nutriogenomics to both the public, healthcare practitioners and researchers.
He was on the technical and clinical review team on The Textbook of Functional Medicine, has run workshops at IFM Symposia and is a former Adjunct Professor of Nutrition and Functional Medicine at The University of Western States, where he helped set up the Masters Degree in Nutrition and Functional Medicine.
Given his knowledge within genetics and Functional Medicine, Umahro has been a part of choosing and evaluating the DNALife profiles. During the past few years, he has used them extensively in clinical practice on: patients; professional athletes; and people with demanding jobs and careers, who are asking what it takes to perform and function optimally, and prevent disease manifesting itself in the first place. He has a fantastic ability to convey complex nutrigenomics and biochemistry.
What other delegates have said about Umahro:
“Umahro’s presentation skills are the best I’ve experienced in the nutrition world to date - no slides, just hand-drawn diagrams as he goes along, peppered with memorable (and entertaining) analogies to get the complicated science over.“
"The greatest thing about Umahro is not having the deepest knowledge in human physiology and biochemistry I have ever encountered in a single mind, or pushing himself out of diseases that would probably put any other person on a bed for life.
The most astonishing feature is his ability to explain the most intricate and complex systems in our body with such ease, passion and simplicity that creates both excitement and fun out of the most tedious and tricky subjects. Meeting Umahro was a life and career changing experience.”
