AAUW January 2019 General Meeting

Big Brothers Big Sisters of SW Idaho

Join us for an informative program and lunch on Thursday, January 10th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Sapphire Room at the Riverside Hotel. No host bar from 11:00 a.m. to noon, lunch at noon, program at 12:30. Menu choices are on the registration form.

Big Brothers and Big Sisters of SW Idaho has been matching children in the Treasure Valley with mentors for over 40 years. the results of these reiationships are nothing short of life changing for both the children and the volunteers who make up the "Bigs" and "Littles" of this program. Emily Johnson, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters, will share how this high impact program works and fill us in on what has been happening in both the school and community programs over the last few years. She will also provide a sneak peek of some exciting developments whe can expect in the coming years. If you have ever had a mentor and if you believe that all children deserve the best possilbe future, come and learn more about Big Brothers Big Sisters to see how you can help children in our community achieve success.

The branch is actively engaged in public policy work throughout the year, and maintains a presence at the Statehouse during the Idaho legislative session.
