AAUW March 2019 General Meeting

Faces of Hope Victims' Center

Join us for an informative program and dinner on Thursday, March 14th, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. in the Aspen Room at the Riverside Hotel. No host bar from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.,  dinner at 6:00, program at 6:30. Menu choices are on the registration form.

The Faces of Hope Victims' Center meets the medical, legal, safety, educational, and basic needs of individuals and families affected by domestic violence, sexual abuse, and/or stalking. Located in downtown Boise, the center strives to reduce victimization by providing a safety net of services in partnership with government and community-based agancies. Dina Denney, a crisis counselor at Faces of Hope, will join us to explain the center's mission and services.

The branch is actively engaged in public policy work throughout the year, and maintains a presence at the Statehouse during the Idaho legislative session.
