but AAUW doesn’t waste away! Don your most festive tropical garb and join us for “Changes in Latitudes and Changes in Attitudes” on Saturday, May 12th at 11 am. We are capping off our year with our annual fundraiser at the Riverside Hotel, which will include both a silent and live auction as well as a tropical luncheon, and, of course, “The Tiki Bar Is Open.”
Follow the flamingoes to bid on a vast array of items and experiences in the silent auction. Bidding begins at 11 am in The Fireplace Foyer. “If You Like Pina Coladas,” you will love the pineapple lime mojitos that the tiki bar will be serving (along with more traditional libations). Remember, “It’s 5 O’Clock Somewhere!”
Luncheon will be served at noon in the Tamarack Room, adjacent to the Fireplace Foyer. You can’t have “A Cheeseburger in Paradise,” but the menu choices will make you “Wish Lunch Could Last Forever.” During lunch, the fabulous Johnny U. will serenade us and auction fantastic finds during the live auction!
While it might appear that we are “Growing Older but Not Up,” all of this fun supports branch activities and girl power! So, “Come Monday,” don’t regret that you have missed the party of the year! RSVP by Tuesday, May 8th.
Cancellation policy Please notify Marci Lingo, mlingo@hot-mktg.com, at least 72 hours prior to the event if you are unable to attend.
