CharityHelp International and Think Renewables Group is launching their Accelerating Education Initiative, which is designed to help schools benefit from the rapid growth of free digital educational information and low cost communication technologies. Since this initiative leverages several major global trends and can be implemented by many organizations simultaneously around the world, the positive social impact of this initiative could become very substantial. Our launch event will be held in several locations around the world and be simultaneously broadcast online via Google Hangout on Air.
The event in NY city will be held at the NY Society of Ethical Culture, which is located at 2 West 64th Street in New York. The room will be available at about 12:15 pm so everyone can be seated for the 12:30 pm online video conference and broadcast.

The times shown above are the online broadcast times. Guests are invited to attend physical event 15 minutes earlier to have time for refreshments, networking and to get seated for the start of the online broadcast. The online broadcast is expected to last about 30 minutes, which includes approximately 20 minutes of presentation and 10 minutes of Q & A. The presentation will outline the initiative, introduce our new animation illustrating it and highlight some example projects operated by our implementing partner organizations.
After the broadcast, there will be a deeper discussion with our implementing partners in Afghanistan about their projects and an opportunity for the audience to talk with these partners.
