
In this face-to-face course, participants will learn how to evaluate the accessibility of their Word documents and fix issues. Specifically, you'll learn:
- How to use Microsoft's Accessibility Checker to identify accessibility issues in your document
- How to create alt text for images and tables
- How to use heading styles and banners in documents
- How to appropriately format tables
- How to use appropriate color and fonts
- How to provide meaningful text for hyperlinks
This course will take place in the Provost's conference room, which is located next to the Library Tower entrance.
Computers and supplies will be provided.
