Adobe Photoshop For Black and White - Online Class with Marc Koegel - November 2021
During this online class, your instructor Marc Koegel will cover various techniques and tools that will help you create beautiful black and white photographs in Adobe Photoshop.
In addition to an effective black and white conversions (which we will cover beginning with your RAW file), what will really make a difference in the final look and feel of your photograph is knowing how to work with selections and masks to create presence. Marc will cover such techniques in detail, and also include re-framing (extending your canvas) to make your compositions as strong as possible.
Other techniques and tools that will be demonstrated include working with smart objects and filters, using plugins such as Silver Efex Pro 2, working with Layers and Masks as well as various sharpening techniques.
During this online class, Marc will use his award-winning photographs as examples, showing you step-by-step how they were created.
To participate in this online course, a basic working knowledge of Photoshop is recommended.
This online class will be interactive with participants able to ask questions.
A recording of the class will be made available to all participants.
This online class will use a service called crowdcast. It is very easy to use and does not require you to install any software on your computer to join. You will receive more information a few days prior to the start of this class. It is recommended that you join this class with a computer that has speakers, a camera and a microphone (at a minimum you will only need speakers though).
This online course is limited to 10 participants only, so as to keep interactivity high and allow plenty of opportunities to get your questions answered.
