Durley Park Classroom, 950 South Hill St., Oxnard, California, 93033, United States.

Monday mornings 9:00 am to noon, 4 weeks.

This class will allow the filigree novice to hone and expand upon their tool handling, unit construction and design techniques. Filigree is a beautiful type of jewelry but can be challenging, as it requires close attention to detail. However, once the skills have been mastered the work becomes a true pleasure!

Students should have adequate materials from the previous class to complete their projects, but should consider their inventory if they seem low on frame wire, or need to purchase additional tools and supplies.

If you have done filigree in the class, and would like to join this class, which is a continuation, please contact the instructor through the eventzilla mail system, for a materials shopping list.

Various metal working techniques involved: Basic wire materials creation, Solder control, wire manipulation and unit construction.

Classes are conducted by volunteer members of the Oxnard Gem & Mineral Society, under the the auspices of the City of Oxnard, Dept. of Recreation.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation is allowed within the registration sales period only. Once the sales period has closed, no refund is given. Please make certain that you are able to attend all classes prior to registering.
