We look forward to seeing members and friends at AFA Winter Nights in the Poconos 2016! The event is from Thu, October 13 2016, 6:00 PM - Sun, October 16 2016, 12:00 PM [EST].
We will have workshops and lectures. We will have meals and music. We will build upon the success of Folkish Asatuar here in the Northeast by making new friends and renewing old friendships. And most importantly we will worship our Gods, our Goddesses, and our Ancestral Mothers in the crisp air of mountains as winter sets in.
We will have two bands performing over the weekend.

Changes, consisting of Robert Taylor and Nicholas Tesluk, will be performing for us again this year. If you have ever heard them you know this is a real treat. You can learn more about Changes at http://www.nmia.com/~thermite and at https://www.facebook.com/OfficialChangesPage/.

Apibus, consisting of Albo Südekum, Stuart Südekum, and Renée Heitman, will be performing for us for the first time this year. You can learn more about Apibus at http://apibus.bandcamp.com/releases and at https://www.facebook.com/apibus.band/.
Register at http://winternights2016.eventzilla.net/. Remember, only AFA members and *vouched for* guests will be admitted to this event. If you are not an AFA Member you should confirm with the member who is vouching for you that they will do so when asked about your registration.
Just a couple of reminders. The cabins have bunks, but you will need to bring your own bedding, and it will get quite chilly at night, so plan accordingly. Tenting is also permitted. Dogs are welcome for a small fee but must be leashed at all times and are not permitted in "roofed common areas" of the Playhouse, the Dining Hall, or on its porch. Children attend for free!
If you have any questions or concerns please email cerickson@runestone.org.
