FAQ's: Before you register
Attendance Options: The 2025 conference is both in-person and virtual. Conference recording is available to all registrants for 30 days after the conference.
Babies/Children/Pumping: Quiet babies in arms are welcome in the conference room. A Closed-circuit TV viewing area is available to be used by those who need to step out with active toddlers, inconsolable babies, or those wishing to express milk in a space other than the conference room. This room is close by and is provided for conference attendees only.
CERPS and CEU's will be applied for through IBLCE and The Commission on Dietetic Registration. Once approval has been received, the information will be posted here and on our website.
Conference room: Conference room temperature may vary; bring a sweater or jacket or your WALC blanket from 2024! There are no outlets available for computers, so bring them fully charged.
Communications: Personal emails are best when registering and communicating with the WALC Conference Committee. Add walccommittee@gmail.com to your email contacts so you receive promotional emails and attendance certificates. Can't find them? Check spam or in Gmail Promotions or Updates tabs. COVID Statement: To those that plan to attend the conference in-person, we request that you follow current CDC guidelines about testing and how to protect yourself and others Wearing masks is a permitted choice in public spaces and is respected by WALC. Consider the virtual option if you are ill or experiencing symptoms.
Location: The conference will be held at the Oshkosh Waterfront Hotel and Conferecne Center. A block of rooms will be reserved. Information will be provided on our website. Click here for a map to the location.
Meals: Gluten free and vegetarian meal options will be available. Special meal accommodations can be requested when you register. Requests made after February 21st may not be accommodated, however we will try our best to provide your request.
Payment: registration fee payment will be by credit card only. Stripe is the credit card processing system we use. Invoicing is not available.
Registration Changes: we will do our best to accommodate changes in registration (in-person to virtual, etc). Please contact us at walccommittee@gmail.com with your registration change request. Requests made after February 21st cannot be refunded for food costs.
Syllabus: A printed syllabus is NOT provided. You will receive an electronic version approximately 1 week before the conference. Please plan ahead and print your syllabus if you would like to refer to during the conference.
