Volunteers are needed to assist with the Annual Arlington County Fair. This is a 6-day event. If you'd like to work other days or shifts, please sign up separately. This is for volunteers of all ages!
This sign up is for day 3, shift 1- Thursday, August 15, 2019, from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. If you two shifts until 6:00 pm, you will receive 2 bonus hours. If you work all three shifts from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm, you will receive 4 bonus hours for a total of 20 hours of community service. Please sign up for each shift separately.
Volunteers should meet in the gymnasium at Thomas Jefferson Community Center, located at 3501 2ns St., S., Arlington, VA 22204. There is very limited street parking which usually requires a permit. It is strongly recommended that you take the bus or carshare/uber/lyft to this event.
Volunteers will be assisting with general Fair activities which may include working the information desk, help sell t-shirts and manage shuttle tickets, and other activities that may require you to be outside.
