Art of Black and White Photography Workshop - Special 4 Day Online Workshop - October 3 - 6, 2024

Ever since the beginning of photography, many of the most powerful and memorable images have been black and white photographs.
For this 4 day online workshop, we will meet online for lectures, post production technique demonstrations and image reviews. Assignments will be given for each participant to work on during the 4 days.
We will be utilizing Zoom as our platform for this online workshop. Each day from 10:00am (PST) to 1pm the group will convene for critiques, conversations, lectures and slideshows followed by an assignment for the day.
Within 2 weeks of the end of the workshop, Marc will also schedule 30 minute one-on-one sessions with each participant to discuss their work and progress made.
For four days you will be taken through the journey required to generate beautiful fine-art black and white images. You will refine your photographic vision and set out on the way to becoming a better photographer.You will learn how to see in black and white!
Here is a more detailed overview of the online group sessions scheduled for each day (there will be a short break about half-way):
Thursday 9:00am – 1pm PST
Friday: 9:00am – 1pm PST
Saturday: 9:00am – 1pm PST
Sunday: 9:00am – 12pm PST
Photographic assignments will be given, so expect to be working after the class times above. Review and critique of your work is included as well.
All online sessions will be recorded, so you can review them again, or catch up should you miss one.
Each sesison will be interactive, meaning you can post your questions and comments anytime.
