“VRF Refrigerant Gas Leak Detection for Occupied Spaces”
This meeting will explain the need for refrigerant leak detection devices on VRF new construction and retrofit systems. The presenter will describe the existing leak detection technologies and point out the relative advantages and disadvantages of each solution. This meeting will also cover ASHRAE standard 34 regarding the maximum refrigerant concentration limits for a conditioned space.

Speaker Bio:
Bill Brennan is the Chief Executive Officer for Unlimited Controls in San Diego, California. Bill has 30+ years experience in HVAC, Combustion and Process Controls and Instrumentation. He was the NYC Branch Manager for Industrial Controls Inc. ,in New York City. He was also a Branch Manager for George T Hall Co. and Controlco in San Diego, California.
Bill has extensive experience with controls and instrumentation for the HVAC, Combustion and Process Markets. Including toxic gas detection. Bill has developed a new device to meet the needs for a stand alone device to monitor for leaks in VRF new construction and retrofit projects, which will be the topic for the March meeting.
