The ASIST workshop is for caregivers who want to feel more comfortable, confident and competent in helping to prevent the immediate risk of suicide.
This two-day, highly interactive, practical, practice-oriented workshop is an international certificated programme. Based upon adult learning principles, you will experience small group discussions and skills practice. Feel challenged and safe. Learn suicide first aid.This is a community course and may not be suitable for those with specific mental health training.
Day 1 - 16th November 2017 - 9:00 am to 4:30 pmDay 2 - 17th Novtember 2017 - 9:00 am to 4:30 pm
At Council Offices, Duke Street, Blackburn BB2 1DHParticipants must attend all sessions on both days to receive the course certificate.
The course will begin at 9:15 am.
Please note that lunch is not provided and there are no cafeteria facilities at the venue.
