Presentation Overview: Organizational Resilience is “the ability of an organization to anticipate, prepare for, respond and adapt to incremental change and sudden disruptions in order to survive and prosper.” Organizational Resilience reaches beyond risk management towards a more holistic view of business health and success. A resilient organization is Darwinian; it adapts to a changing environment to remain fit for purpose over the long term. It is also one that learns from its own and others’ experiences in order to pass the test of time.

Topics will include:

  • Holistic Approach – Organizational Resilience is more than risk management, harnessing product, process, and people within the management ecosystem to drive continual improvement Benefits – Economist Intelligence Units research of 411 Organizations show that it’s a business priority, essential for growth and could provide competitive benefits.
  • Three important areas of focus – Operational, Supply Chain and Information Resilience, The adoption of best practice systems, processes and behaviors across these three key domains.
