Presentation Overview:

Companies that focus on fostering a “culture of quality” recognize that a quality-focused culture has the potential to accelerate business performance. A strong focus on quality ensures that client requirements are met on time and within budget, which ultimately strengthens client relationships and drives repeat business and growth. While the concept of a quality-focused culture may seem intangible and potentially unattainable, there are concrete steps that organizations can take to begin implementing a culture of quality at any time:
•         Establish a vision for the quality management program, along with clear and concise quality objectives
•         Obtain leadership buy-in and commitment to actively participate
•         Utilize a common framework to explain quality-related resources to employees
•         Create an engagement model and leverage change management to solicit buy-in

This presentation will focus on our journey as a firm to build on our successes and learn from our pitfalls, on the road to achieving a culture of quality. We are still on that journey, as continuous improvement is embedded in our organizational culture. The Corporate Quality Office is at the forefront of shifting the firm’s decentralized quality management approach to instill a broader culture of quality across the firm. This presentation will kick off with a description of our vision and articulation of the key steps required to embed quality into an organization’s culture, highlighting the importance of leadership buy-in and involvement at every level of the organization. After discussing our rationale for a quality-focused culture, the presentation will focus on the aforementioned steps in practice.
