Web-based Certified Quality Auditor Refresher Course
In collaboration with ASQ Section 511, ASQ Section 509 is pleased to offer an online refresher course for quality professionals who want to prepare for the Quality Auditor Certification (CQA) Exam administered by the American Society for Quality (ASQ). The course covers the CQA Body of Knowledge and sample exam questions for you to test your understanding of the concepts. The course will help participants identify topics they should concentrate their studies on as they prepare for the actual exam. Levels of cognition will be reviewed and their use in defining the intended complexity of multiple choice test questions will be identified.
Format:
Web-based, online course using Anymeeting.com online meeting platform. Participants will need access to the internet. Use of a headset is strongly encouraged. The new course syllabus and expectations is available

Dates and Time:
The course consists of pre-recorded sessions and live webinars. The webinars runs for 5 consecutive Saturdays from March 4th through Saturday, April 1st for 2-hour sessions. Each session will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM EST. All sessions will be recorded and available for viewing to participants until the end of the exam window (04/23/2017).

March 4, 11, 18, 25, and April 1, 2017
Refresher Course Tuition: $495 for registrations received by March 1, 2017

Instructor: Sandra L. Menzies, MS, ASQ-CQA, ASQ-CQM/OE, PMI-PMP
Ms. Menzies has been a senior member of ASQ since 2001 and has taught the CQA Refresher course for several years. With over 24 years of experience, Ms. Menzies has held quality-related positions at Biocon, Inc.; Otsuka Maryland Research Institute; TherImmune Research Corporation; and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Ms. Menzies current position uses her knowledge of auditing and project management to improve internal business processes at the FDA. In addition to auditing for compliance to Good Clinical Practice and Good Laboratory Practice regulations, and ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 standards, Ms. Menzies has hosted FDA and EPA inspections, and ISO audits.
Course Materials: We will be using certification materials from the Quality Council of Indiana. Required materials for the course are:

Location: ASQ certification examinations are delivered by ASQ’s testing partner, Prometric. The examination scheduling instructions will be provided in your eligibility letter sent directly to you. The letter will contain information on how to select and schedule your examination date and location.
ASQ CQA Exam Cost: $498 for non-members, $348 for members. Join ASQ and save! Exam applicants are responsible for meeting ASQs certification requirements.

Course Withdrawal Policy:
The policy for the Web-based CQA course starting March 4th, 2017: If you need to cancel your registration or withdraw from the course, we will refund your paid registration fee as follows:
1. Requests for cancellations/withdrawal received by March 1, 2017, receive a full refund.
2. Requests received after March 4, 2017, incurs a 25% processing fee.
3. There are no refunds past March 11, 2017.
