Abstract: 

Since the COVID-19 pandemic started over a year ago, businesses have learned that constant change is the new normal. There will always be outside forces that companies need to adapt to, many of which are unforeseen, and there’s a continual need for resilience. Quality professionals have found that advanced digital solutions provide significant advantages when these issues arise. They can communicate more effectively, keep their operations going, and maintain quality with minimal interruption.

Quality leaders have already moved from paper to digital — now it's time to focus on data intelligence. Data intelligence is all about using artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to make data-driven decisions. Or, in some cases, simply enabling the applications to make those decisions without human involvement. This level of connectivity brings quality into every part of your organization, giving you a true culture of quality.

Presenter:

Erin Wright, Senior Product Manager

As MasterControl’s senior product manager over validation and Insights, Erin Wright spearheads the efforts pertaining to the development of the company’s groundbreaking Validation Excellence Tool (VxT). She holds a patent related to streamlining the validation process by using a risk-based approach to greatly reduce validation time, with a second patent pending. She created and implemented the configuration-based testing that drives the VxT and is currently working to develop self-validating capabilities in MasterControl software. 

She joined MasterControl in 2013 as a professional services consultant and worked closely with hundreds of regulated companies, including the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER).   Her extensive experience in quality, validation, and regulatory compliance includes working for an automated-testing software company and several clinical-trial software providers.
