Please join us at Teasley Elementary School in Cobb County for a one-day training session that will address water efficiency in school buildings. The course is designed to introduce K-12 facility operations maintenance professionals to the requirements in the Metro Water District’s Water Supply and Water Conservation Management Plan and water conservation best practices. This course is open to all building maintenance professionals and water utility staff.
The course will provide each participant with a framework, strategies and tools to monitor, manage and reduce water consumption while lowering operational costs and environmental impact. The course will cover property water consumption through benchmarking water use, understanding end uses of water in K-12 schools, managing water consumption and water conservation planning and compliance.
Participants will learn
The workshop will conclude with a tour of the school during which participants will take part in a walk-through assessment checklist.
Lunch will be provided
