Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island has established a virtual courtroom. Through the use of Zoom video conferencing and teleconferencing, the Court has been able to conduct hearings while the physical buildings have been closed. This 1.5 hour program will cover the tips and tricks of litigating successfully in a video environment and offer 1.5 CLE credits. It will feature staff members from the Clerk’s Office who will pass on their wisdom and experiences as well as Judges who will describe what constitutes successful advocacy without a physical presence. Attorneys will learn the behind the scenes of how zoom operates, how to have optimal video and sound, how to conduct a private client conference, how to use the interpreter services and many more tips and tricks.
Zoom access information will be emailed to all those registered with a confirmation email prior to the program date.
