AUTUMN ARTISTS' RETREAT
Monday, October 30 – Thursday, November 2, 2023
This retreat is open to artists at all levels including beginners. Photographers, sculptors and writers are also welcome to come and experience the colors and beauty of the high desert in the setting of the monastery. Escape the stress of daily life while deepening a spiritual vision in your art. (A materials list will be provided.)
Deloris Haddow is an oblate of Valyermo. She is an artist and an educator. Her studies have taken her to explore art in Europe, Asia and the Mid-East with a special interest in the spiritual icons of the Ukraine. A long-time member of the Plein Air Association of Southern California, she is particularly attracted to landscape art. She has been leading workshops and retreats at the Abbey for over 20 years.
