The Old Paulding Jail was featured March 13, 2020 on the two hour season premier of The Travel Channel's paranormal show, "Portals to Hell", starring Jack Osbourne and Katrina Wiedman.

This jail was built in 1876 and closed its doors as the county jail in 2006.
There are working bathrooms, electricity, heating and cooling throughout the building. There are no elevators in the building making it NOT handicap friendly .

Night Time Weekday session hours are 8:00pm to 2:00am Monday thru Thursday for $400 for your group of up to 8 people.
Night Time Weekend session hours Friday thru Sunday are 8pm to 4am for $600 for your group of up to 8 people.
All reservations must be made online and in advance.
Once your session is booked all sales are final. There are no refunds.
All members of your group will be required to sign a waiver of liability upon arrival. Anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
With regards to covid-19, the Jail is routinely sanitized after any and all investigation sessions. If The State of Ohio has a mandated face mask order, you will be required to wear face masks while inside the jail. A hand sanitizing station will be in place for you to use.
Some of the paranormal activity we have experienced at this jail include cell doors slamming, phantom footsteps, disembodied voices, people being touched and scratched, evp, jingling keys, whistling, doors opening and closing, lights being turned on or off, shadoe figures. Apparitions have been captured on on video and in photos.
That is just a sample of what goes on at the jail.
While the jail is very paranormally active, we have no control over any of the spirits and can not predict what they may or may not do. Paranormal investigating is much like fishing, you can go to a stocked pond and catch a lot or catch nothing at all.
