Please visit https://www.thewagglydog.com/services to download our Group Training Contract. Please have the contract filled out and your dog's vaccination records attached and bring it to the first class. We require all dogs participating in our classes to be up to date on their age appropiate vaccinations for the duration of the class. These vaccinations are Rabies (all dogs 16 weeks and older), Distemper (all dogs 12 weeks and older), and Bordetella (all dogs 12 weeks and older). A signed contract and current vaccination records must be brought on first day to be admitted into the class.
Please be sure to bring plenty of good training treats with you to class, alternatively treats can be purchased at Pet Palace when you arrive.
This is a 6 week basic obedience class. Class is held on Saturdays from 11am to 12pm. In this class, we cover the foundation of what your dog needs to know to be successful in their life with you. The list of things covered includes:

Watch – the foundation of getting your dog to focus and listen to you

Down (laying down)

Stand

Puppy Push Ups (Sit, Down, Stand in order as a routine, this is the basis of getting the dog to do more for less)

Handling Exercises (being able to touch the dog including their front and rear feet, heads, body, ears, and mouths. This is the basis of setting up good anxiety free vet visits, grooming visits, etc)
