Our famous Basic Photography Course condensed into one intensive weekend workshop.
Are you looking for a great first course in photography, but don’t have the time to commit to a 10 week program? Then this workshop is for you!
In only 2 days you will learn the most important basic photography concepts, such as: exposure calculation, depth-of-field, effective composition guidelines and how to use your camera to get consistent high quality results in a variety of shooting situations that include travel photography, landscapes, portraitures, macro and events (in both bright and low light). We also introduce you to fine-art photography techniques such as long exposures, intentional camera movement, panning etc.
We'll finish the weekend with a dive into image processing to show you how to give your images that final 'polish', and how to share them efficiently online and in print.
On Sunday a hands-on photo fieldtrip will give you the opportunity to practice your newly acquired skills.
This intensive class is designed to leave you feeling comfortable and in control of your camera and its operation. It is a great workshop for people looking to refresh their skills and a stepping stone and foundation to further photography training.
