Following the recent system upgrade, the Connecticut Basic WebEOC Training has been updated to reflect new functionality and expand user base knowledge of the system. This Two-Hour virtual class is the prerequisite for all other WebEOC classes. Basic WebEOC courses taken before November 2024 no longer qualify individuals as fulfilling the prerequisites for other WebEOC courses.

This class is the pre-requisite for attending tutorial (interactive) WebEOC classes - no exceptions.
Further, the Course Prerequisites / Participation Requirements listed below must be met - no exceptions.
Registrants are responsible for meeting these requirements and following the guidance below in a timely manner.
Course Prerequisites / Participation Requirements
- WebEOC Account (participants must have an active or newly vetted WebEOC account prior to the course, accounts that have not been accessed in the last six months have most likely been deactivated. If your account has been deactivated, you must complete and submit the form at www.ct.gov/demhs/webeoc.
- Ability to login to WebEOC without assistance
- Camera functioning and ON entire class
- Microphone functioning
- Basic computer skills and understanding of internet browsers
- Commitment to actively participate during entire class session
- Download the Juvare WebEOC app before the course
Target Audience
ACCESS TO THE VIRTUAL CLASSROOM
- A Zoom link will be sent out 15-20 minutes prior to the session ON THE DAY of the course - links will only be sent to registrations that have met the criteria for admission. DO NOT SHARE this link or the event viewing with individuals that do not have a confirmed registration!
CLASS PREPARATION GUIDANCE – PLAN ACCORDINGLY
- Review the class title, pre-requisites/participation requirements and target audience for this class before registering.
- Test equipment IN ADVANCE - the class will NOT cover how to use Zoom or setup camera/microphone.
- WebEOC Accounts must be established prior to class - late requests for new accounts can not be vetted in time; all forms for new accounts must be complete and submitted per the form instructions no later than one week prior to class.
