Hope for Tomorrow Counseling is hosting a FREE training entitled "Basics of Bereavement" presented by Sherry Parker, LCSW. In this one hour training, Sherry will be helping guests to understand what is expected when experiencing grief and bereavement within themselves and others. The training will discuss the following:
- Stages of Grief
- Delayed Grief
- Men & Grief
- Red Flags of Grief
- and more!
This event is taking place in-person and virtually on Friday, March 25th from 2pm-3pm.
The training will be taking place at the Patrick Henry Family Service Wyndhurst Studio (1621 Enterprise Dr. Lynchburg, VA 24502; 2nd floor). The first 5 guests to register for in person will be able to attend in the conference room. The link to the streaming of the training will be provided to those who register for the virtual option. This training is planning to be recorded for later viewing. No CE credits will be provided; however, a certification of participation is available upon request.
