About the Film
The Halcyon Daze follows one passenger's journey from casual interest to full-blown obsession with Disney's award-winning yet short-lived Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. Halcyon Daze explores the attraction's launch, run, and closure, capturing the passionate fan community and creative team that brought it to life.
Halcyon Daze aims to immortalize the beauty, power, and artistry of the Galactic Starcruiser experience and share it with a larger audience, capturing the fervent community it created.
Ticket sales are processed through the Louisville Film Society, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing resources and support to local filmmakers, including the Halcyon Daze Documentary. Proceeds from this event will go directly towards bringing this documentary about this beloved ship to life.
Special Guest
Dr. Evan Torner is co-editor-in-chief of Analog Game Studies, a founder of the Golden Cobra Challenge, and secretary of Playable Theatre. He is an accomplished designer of both live-action and table-top role-playing games who has contributed to blockbuster Nordic-style LARPs and is a leading expert on immersion, role-playing, and playable theatre. Dr. Torner features as an on-screen expert in Halcyon Daze, and we are pleased to welcome him to the Backstage Brunch as our special guest.

Halcyon Daze is delighted to offer exclusive merchandise to fundraiser attendees. Options include a zip-up hooded sweatshirt, t-shirt, art print, water bottle, and sticker. To purchase one or more, just select the corresponding add-on during registration and complete your purchase (the system will collect sizing for shirts and hoodies as you complete your survey for purchase).
Your items will be available for pickup at the event; just be sure to bring your confirmation. There are no planned extras for any items, so if you want something, order soon! No shipping is available.
Please note that these are digital mockups and may differ slightly from completed products, even as we have made every effort to be accurate. There are no returns or exchanges. The "halcyon daze" laid over most images is a watermark and will not appear on final products.
The art print is still being finalized with the artist. Once artwork is finalized, we will send an update to all ticketholders, so you will have an opportunity to add this item to your order later.
T-Shirt
Our blueprint-inspired event shirt features authentic patent designs in white on the front and the Halcyon Daze logo on the back. Shirt is available in adult sizes S-5XL and XLT-3XLT, plus baby sizes 6M-18M, children's sizes 2T-5T, and youth S-XL. Children's, youth's, and standard adult's sizes will be printed on the heather columbia blue color shown. Adult's tall and baby sizes will be printed on navy blue. Baby shirts are from Rabbit Skins and adult tall shirts are Gildan. All others are Bella + Canvas.
Hooded Full-Zip Sweatshirt
A classic hooded full-zip sweatshirt features the Halcyon Daze logo embroidered in white and marigold on the crest. Carolina blue hoodie is vailable in sizes S-5XL.
Water Bottle
32 oz. custom-printed Nalgene water bottle. Big-mouth style is screened with original white line art and reads "Other worlds are possible."
Sticker
Photo collage sticker of a cake reading "I'd rather be on a fake spaceship." Size is approximately 5.5"x3.5"; sticker is printed on holographic stock with a glossy finish.
Art Print
The art print is still being finalized in collaboration with the artist. It is currently planned as an 11"x14" metallic print on colored paper stock. We will circulate art once it is finalized, and you will have the opportunity to add one to your order at that time. (Or you can just trust us and order it now!)
