About The Class

This is an in-person class taught by registered nurses for first-birth or experienced families.

You will learn about: the labor and delivery process, various relaxation and breathing techniques, anesthesia choices, cesarean birth, and newborn care.

The discussions will include baby care basics such as: feeding, diapering, bathing your baby, physical appearance of newborns, and practical tips for parents.

Suzi Teague began her nursing career in 2005, and moved into labor and delivery nursing in 2014. She started teaching childbirth education in 2016, and became certified in this area a year later. Suzi is passionate about women's health and works to reduce the primary cesarean section rate and prevalence of birth trauma.
