Come experience the joy of painting at LPS Studios in DECATUR on Saturday, JAN 11. No experience is required. Come learn the wet-on-wet oil painting technique, made popular by Bob Ross ®, from a Certified Bob Ross Instructor. 

Minimum Age for this Class is 16 years old.

Take home a completed painting. The class fee is $45 if pre-paid (PRIOR to 01/07) OR $55 (if paid on day of class), which includes all materials and supplies, EXCEPT for the canvas. Students will need to bring a 16x20 inch canvas to class. Class starts promptly at 9:30am and finishes up by 3:30pm. We will take a short lunch break around noon.

Advance registration is suggested. You can either register online OR by calling 256-509-1161. When registering online, you can either choose to pay the day of class ($55 cash/check) OR you can choose to pre-pay ($45 - NON-REFUNDABLE) Note: If paying online, Eventzilla charges a $1.25 fee.

Jenny is an experienced painter and a Certified Bob Ross Instructor®. She is a member of the Huntsville Art League, at Lowe Mill and is a graduate of their Mentorship program. Jenny cultivated an interest and appreciation in the majestic national and state parks of the western US. She loved hiking in the Redwoods at Big Basin State Park, snowball fights at Crater Lake, camping at Yosemite, and wild life watching at Yellowstone. As an ordained minister, she has been on mission trips to Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and the Amazon Jungle of Peru. From photo safaris in Etosha Game Park to floating down the Amazon River, these adventures outside of the US, deepened and expanded her world view and appreciation of the diversity of nature and people. These life experiences are where Jenny derives her inspiration
