Bridges Out of Poverty and its ongoing impact in our region
Bridges Out of Poverty workshops offer faith communities, employers, community and government organizations, social service agencies, businesses and individuals powerful tools for change. Based on Dr. Ruby Payne’s A Framework for Understanding Poverty, Bridges workshops provide proven ideas that will improve local mission development, build resources, improve outcomes, and support those who are moving from poverty to sustainability.
The Bridges Out of Poverty Workshop will provide information that will improve interactions with those in poverty, optimize outcomes and reduce stress for the people with whom you work.
This workshop is for:
Bridges Out of Poverty 2-Day Intensive Training is facilitated by a multi-faceted team of experts from a variety of organizations and backgrounds. All are nationally certified Bridges Out of Poverty facilitators.
City Mission of Schenectady / Schenectady Works is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers #0388.

Utilizing the Bridges Out of Poverty constructs as a foundation, Schenectady Bridges will collaboratively and innovatively build resources and remove barriers through dynamic programmatic and economic development leading to individual, organizational, and community-wide wellness, opportunity, and transformation.
