Business Update for Private Practice: What You Need to Know About the Telehealth Registry and Independent Contractor Law

It's important for private practitioners to stay up-to-date on state legislation that could effect their business or their practice. Recent changes to New Jersey state law, specifically regarding hiring employees as independent contractors and conducting telehealth, are poised to affect small businesses including private practice.

Please join us for a conversation on business updates for New Jersey private practitioners. Topics include the New Jersey Telemedicine and Telehealth Organization Registry, New Jersey's independent contractor law, and other considerations for social workers practicing telehealth in New Jersey.

Speakers to include David Barry, MSW, JD and Laura Bowne Barry, JD of Bowne Barry & Barry, Attorneys at Law. Moderated by Jennifer Thompson, MSW, Executive Director of NASW - NJ & DE.
