The 4-hour deaf sensitivity training class is entitled I Never Gave THAT A Thought! The series of joint collaborative training is ongoing. This area of the website is for the class on May 6, 2021. 1800-hours, Pacific & Arizona Time.

Additional dates are being set up.

Given the large number of deputies and support staff to train with a combined "super class," of possibly the sheriff's sworn employees of the invited agencies in the counties of Los Angeles Orange and Kern in CA, the Counties of Pinal, Santa Cruz, Maricopa, Gila, Yavapai, Cochise & Yuma along with the Yuma PD in AZ and others in both states, there will be even more dates in order to train as many as possible with this unique, exclusive collaborative program.

Should you NOT be in law enforcement, yet have received an invitation to participate, you are on the POST list of training administrators and may register your staff herein.

We expect that approximately 20 classes will be set up soon to accommodate the maximum number of participants. Thus, there will be a variety of starting times for the 4-hour class such as: 0700, 0900, 1200,1300, AND EVEN 0200 (2:00AM!) This scheduling will make it easier for those after the midnight hour to benefit from this unique and exclusive class.

Recently, a new high-interest segment has been introduced about Deaf in prison. The subject of federal law and ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) may assist in leveraging liability and compliance.

AZ-sworn personnel may request a course completion certificate for POST credit.

PLEASE NOTE that AZ POST requires that you have a working camera while taking the class on your computer, iPad or tablet in order to receive credit. We discourage the use of smartphones due to the small screens on such devices. Participant material will be sent via email once you are registered. It is requested that you purchase an inexpensive pair of earplugs for our "dive into the pool of silence" segment. American Sign Language (ASL) is touched upon. Learning the ASL alphabet and some useful words and phrases will be extremely useful on the job as well as in you private life.

THIS REGISTRATION PAGE IS FOR THURSDAY, MAY 6. 2021, 1800-hours. FUTURE CLASSES MAY NOT YET BE AVAILABLE FOR REGISTRATION!

We would like to know your interest and hear questions about the class that you may have. You can reach an office in Los Angeles at 661 347-0911, Central California call 707 340-3733 or in Phoenix at 480 610-0700. For the Tucson area call 520 407-6606 or Central and Northern Arizona call 702 430-8685. Our email is WorldTradeCenter@DeptOfEd.org

We look forward to having you onboard soon.

Our Deaf sensitivity training has been given to law enforcement for many years. It appears that the breadth and depth of the intense classes offered is unduplicated in the United States with regard to content and practicality. The company's founder and trainer, Fred Greenspan, was selected to present on the subject of Deafness by the Arizona Supreme Court for its annual judicial conference, and, with his associate, William "Wilz" Prentice, presented several sessions for staff training at the Pinal County Courts in AZ as well as to Deputies in the Pinal County Sheriff's Office, Las Vegas Metro Police Department and McCarran Int'l Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada on several occasions.
