The 4-hour deaf sensitivity training class is entitled I Never Gave THAT A Thought! The series of joint collaborative training is ongoing. This area of the website is for the class on Wednesday May 18, 2021, 1300-1700 hours, Pacific & Arizona Time.

Additional dates will be forthcoming.

Given the large number of deputies and support staff to train with a combined "super class," of possibly the sheriff's sworn employees of the invited agencies in the counties of Los Angeles Orange and Kern in CA, the Counties of Pinal, Santa Cruz, Maricopa, Gila, Yavapai, Cochise & Yuma along with the Yuma PD in AZ and others in both states, there will be even more dates for classes presented in order to train as many as possible with this unique, exclusive collaborative program.

Should you NOT be in law enforcement, yet have received an invitation to participate, you are on a list of interested people including training administrators and may register staff herein.

We expect that approximately 30 classes are being set up to accommodate the maximum number of participants. Thus, there will be a variety of starting times for the 4-hour class such as: 0700, 0800, 1200,1300, AND EVEN 0200 (2:00AM!) to make it easier for those after the midnight hour to benefit from this unique class.

AZ-sworn personnel may request a course completion certificate for POST credit.

PLEASE NOTE that AZ-POST requires that you have a working camera while taking the class on your computer, iPad or tablet in order to receive training credit. We discourage the use of smartphones due to the small screens on those devices which makes it hard to see the shown graphics, photos and graphs. In addition, the audio is not conducive to a training class concerning hard of hearing and deaf issues. Participant material will be sent via email once you are registered.

It is requested that you purchase an inexpensive pair of earplugs for our "dive into the pool of silence." They are available at most pharmacies.

The ASL alphabet and some useful words and phrases will be learned. Our methods are quite unique. It enables a greater percent of retention of the material.

The class is also a lot of fun for everyone.

THIS REGISTRATION PAGE IS FOR WEDNESDAY, MAY 18, 2021, 1300-hours.

OTHER CLASSES being set further out MAY NOT YET BE AVAILABLE FOR REGISTRATION!

We encourage questions about our class. Feel free to contact our nearest office: in Los Angeles 661 347-0911; Phoenix 480 610-0700; the Tucson area 520 407-6606 and Northern AZ 702 430-8685.  You can also send an email to WorldTradeCenter@DeptOfEd.org

We look forward to seeing you and your colleagues in one of our classes soon.

Our Deaf sensitivity training has been given to law enforcement for many years. It appears that the breadth and depth of the intense classes offered is unduplicated in the United States with regard to content and practicality. The company's founder and trainer, Fred Greenspan, was selected to present on the subject of Deafness by the Arizona Supreme Court for its annual judicial conference, and, with his associate, William "Wilz" Prentice, presented several sessions for staff training at the Pinal County Courts in AZ as well as to Deputies in the Pinal County Sheriff's Office, Las Vegas Metro Police Department and McCarran Int'l Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada on several occasions. This class may help to leverage liability and ADA Compliance.
