The Neighborhood Recovery Community Development Corporation (NRCDC) works with individuals and families to achieve their dreams of economic self-sufficiency. One dream shared by many is homeownership.

 

Buying a home is an exciting opportunity to fulfill dreams and make new beginnings.  It can also be a very complicated process.  NRCDC’s goal is to help families through education and financial health. NRCDC provides first time homebuyer education classes for families and individuals with homeownership goals. These sessions enhance the quality of life for the participating families, as well as prepare them for homeownership by teaching how to:

  • Understand what your family can afford

  • Managing your money and creating a budget

  • Obtain appropriate financing

  • Shopping for a home and negotiating a fair price

  • Closing the deal

  • Protect your investment

  • And more!
