A word nerd at heart, Rebecca Aldridge is the Strategic Communications Manager for VCU HR, leading the communications function which includes mass communication, internal communication, department-level brand management, recruitment marketing, social media strategy, strategic communication for programs and services, leadership messaging, and liaising with partner units. Her experience includes an array of subject areas encompassing human resources, communications, and higher education. Prior to VCU, Rebecca worked for District of Columbia Public Schools as a leadership development program coordinator. She started her career at George Washington University where she was the student employment manager.

Rebecca’s academic preparation includes a BA in Psychology and English from The College of William and Mary, an MA in Higher Education Administration from The George Washington University and an MS in Mass Communications from VCU.

Andrew and his wife, Kate, recently started a local business focused on wedding and event photography and videography, and portrait photography, as well as social media management for organizations. Andrew loves to travel, spend time with his German shepherd and hound dog, watch concerts and movies, play records, and make cucumber-hummus sandwiches.

He is currently the executive creative director for Old Dominion University’s Division of Digital Transformation and Technology. In his role, he oversees a team responsible for the creative expression of the ODUGlobal brand, as well as graphic design, content strategy, and social media in support of student recruitment. Prior to his current role, he was the director of strategic digital marketing for Miami Online at Miami University, graphic design manager and art director for the Wake Forest School of Business, and director of communications for the Virginia Tech Alumni Association. A first-generation college graduate, Dave holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
