The Frontier Classroom, 800 Park Offices Drive, Research Triangle Park, NC, 27709, United States.

The 2020 Census is vitally important to the Triangle region and our entire state. This upcoming census will have political, social, and economic implications over the next 10 years - and an accurate count is key to ensuring equitable allocation of federal funding for education, housing, health, and transportation needs, effective community and economic development, and fair political representation.

Join Triangle Community Foundation as we learn from Stacey Carless, Executive Director of NC Counts Coalition, and Dr. Rebecca Tippett, Founding Director of Carolina Demography, about the Census, the importance of an accurate count, and what nonprofits, donors, and our community can do to take action and support census outreach in the Triangle.

When: Thursday, November 14, 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Where: The Frontier Classroom, 800 Park Offices Drive, RTP, NC 27709

As part of the Foundation’s donor and nonprofit education series, we hope you will be excited to learn with Stacey and Dr. Tippett on how we can ensure an accurate count and support Census outreach leading into 2020. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to talk informally with other Triangle residents about how we can work together.

Lunch will be served, and space is limited, so we encourage you to register by Monday, November 4.
